Uptown Pup wasn’t created because the world needed another pet sitting company. We’re here because we saw an opportunity to elevate what pet care could be. How do you ensure my home and pets are safe?
Your pet’s safety and your home’s security are our top priorities. All visits are tracked through our software, providing time-stamped updates so you know exactly when we arrive and leave. Our sitters follow structured protocols for entering and securing your home, proper leash handling, and actively monitoring your pet’s behavior and environment throughout each visit. We are trained to notice subtle changes in behavior or health, allowing us to respond quickly if something seems off. In addition to pet care, we also help maintain the security and appearance of your home by bringing in mail, rotating trash bins, and watering plants- so so your home remains secure, well-maintained, and comfortably lived-in while you’re away.
Can my shy or anxious pet adjust to a pet sitter?
Absolutely- and this is something we specialize in. We take a pet-led approach to care, allowing each pet to warm up at their own pace without pressure or forced interaction. This is especially beneficial for pets who need:

Do you care for cats?
Absolutely. Cats deserve personalized care just as much as dogs do. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and adoration or simply prefers a clean litter box, fresh food, and quiet companionship, we’ll tailor each visit to their individual personality and routine. From our energetic kitten clients to our seniors, our team is committed to providing calm, compassionate care tailored to the cat in front of us.

Pet sitting pricing varies based on the type of service, length of care, frequency of visits, number of pets, and your pet’s individual needs. A puppy needing frequent potty breaks, a senior pet with separation anxiety, and a household needing vacation care for a multi-pet family may all require varying levels of attention and support, which is why all our services are fully customizable during the booking process. After learning more about your pets and their routine through our New Client Application, we’ll recommended the best care option for your household and provide transparent pricing before your reservation is confirmed.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holidays, school breaks, and extended care reservations, as these dates tend to fill quickly. While we do our best to accommodate last minute requests whenever our schedule allows, availability cannot be guaranteed. If you know your travel dates, securing your reservation is the best way to ensure your pet’s care is arranged well in advance. For recurring services, we also recommend scheduling ahead to help maintain your preferred routine, services, and time frames.

How do I book?
NEW CLIENTS: To establish care with us, please fill out a New Client Application. Here, you’ll provide details about your household and your pet for us to review. Once we review your care information, we’ll reach out to schedule a complimentary Meet & Greet at your home. This visit allows us to get to know your pet’s personality, routine, and preferences, while also reviewing home access and care instructions. After confirming that we’re the right fit, we’ll finalize your care plan and schedule your visits.
EXISTING CLIENTS: If you’re already part of the Uptown Pup pack, booking is quick and convenient. Visits can be scheduled over the phone, via text, or through our Time to Pet client app or portal. Simply select the service, preferred time frames, and duration, and we’ll review availability and send a notification once your booking is confirmed.
Whether you’re new or returning, our goal is the same: to provide a seamless, personalized experience so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared-for.
