At Uptown Pup, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional care for all of our Pups & their humans. We were built on a desire to personalize the pet sitting experience and to create a welcoming, compassionate company based on our clientele's needs. Most importantly, we offer specialized one-on-one care that you and Fido alike can trust in. We are licensed, insured, and boast a decade's experience in the industry.

Our service range includes a large range of the CSRA, including Evans, Augusta, Martinez, Grovetown, & North Augusta.

Getting Started

Before booking any services, we want to ensure we’re the perfect fit for your pet! Our Meet & Greet allows us to meet you and your pet, discuss their typical routine in your home, and answer any questions you may have for us. This complimentary, no-obligation session helps us provide the best care for your pet.

After we've got everything covered, we'll discuss the plan for our mode of entry. Our clients may purchase a lockbox from us for $40, use an electronic key, door code, or a garage code. 


         

Please note: While we can accommodate most all creatures- including special needs, anxious pets, senior pets, and pets with reactivity- we will need to be informed of stranger/door reactivity prior to our arrival so we may discuss how best to greet your pet. We hope to see you & your pet soon!

We look forward to meeting you and your pet! With our detailed report cards with every visit and a personal mobile app for our clients, we aim to personalize and simplify the process for you. With our app, you'll be able to track your pet’s day, request services, preview your scheduled visits, update your pet information, send messages, and make payments with ease.

Our services are structured, insured, and intentionally designed around consistency, communication, and respectful in-home care. Every visit is documented with GPS-confirmed arrival, detailed updates, potty and behavior tracking, and thoughtful narrative reports- so you’re never left guessing how your pet is doing.​ Loving animals is the baseline for any pet care provider. With Uptown Pup, visits aren’t just check-ins- they’re structured, professional care you can trust, with every detail captured and shared in real time using our Client Portal.

How do you ensure my home and pets are safe?
 

Your pet’s safety and your home’s security are our top priorities. All visits are tracked through our software, providing time-stamped updates so you know exactly when we arrive and leave. Our sitters follow structured protocols for entering and securing your home, proper leash handling, and actively monitoring your pet’s behavior and environment throughout each visit. We are trained to notice subtle changes in behavior or health, allowing us to respond quickly if something seems off. In addition to pet care, we also help maintain the security and appearance of your home by bringing in mail, rotating trash bins, and watering plants- so so your home remains secure, well-maintained, and comfortably lived-in while you’re away.

Can my shy or anxious pet adjust to a sitter?

Absolutely- and this is something we specialize in. We take a pet-led approach to care, allowing each pet to warm up at their own pace without pressure or forced interaction. This is especially beneficial for pets who need:

  • Slow, trust-based introductions

  • Minimal pressure to engage

  • Limited or carefully guided handling

 

With consistency and patience, many shy or anxious pets grow more confident and comfortable over time. Our focus is always on creating a calm, positive environment where your pet feels safe, respected, and supported.

What if my pet has special needs or behaviors?

We work with pets of all personalities and backgrounds- including reactive pets, seniors, and those with special needs. Our approach is always pet-led: we adjust care to meet each pet’s individual needs while keeping safety, comfort, and wellbeing front and center.

In fact, these pets often benefit the most from our services. We love caring for anxious, selective, or special-needs pets and take pride in going the extra mile to help them feel calm, supported, and happy while you’re away.

How do I book?
 

NEW CLIENTS: To establish care with us, please fill out a New Client Application. Here, you’ll provide details about your household and your pet for us to review. Once we review your care information, we’ll reach out to schedule a complimentary Meet & Greet at your home. This visit allows us to get to know your pet’s personality, routine, and preferences, while also reviewing home access and care instructions. After confirming that we’re the right fit, we’ll finalize your care plan and schedule your visits.

EXISTING CLIENTS: If you’re already part of the Uptown Pup family, booking is quick and convenient. Visits can be scheduled over the phone, via text, or through our Time to Pet client app or portal. Simply select the service, preferred time frames, and duration, and we’ll review availability and send a notification once your booking is confirmed.

Whether you’re new or returning, our goal is the same: to provide a seamless, personalized experience so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared-for.
